We finally got back in the water on Thursday afternoon. We were in the boat yard for 16 days and glad to be out of there. It is a very busy place and lots of grinding, sanding, and equipment running. Also very dirty from all the dust in the air. But everything seems to be working now.
We are anchored up in a little bay on the east side of Lummi Island, across the bay from Bellingham.Very pretty here. There is a water fall coming down the rocks and lots of birds singing. Tomorrow we will go to Anacortes to get fuel for the trip north and food and supplies. Will probably spend another week in the San Jaun Islands before crossing over to Canada. That's about it for now. Hope everyone is well. Russ,Pat,and Maddie
I was just fixing to call you to get any new news and thought I should check your blog first. Getting back in the water is awesome! I'm guessing your man got the stabilizers fixed, then?
ReplyDeleteIf it's not too late, how about posting some pictures of that waterfall you mentioned for us poor working stiffs? I'd like to see 'em.
Cheers!
Glad to hear you've hit the water again and it sounds like you're finding better views! Hope all is going well. We'd love to catch up with you when you're in the area again. How's Maddie doing?
